Our top 7 Australian Elopement Destinations
You asked and we’re excited to say, here it is! Our top 7 Australian destination elopement locations, we thought why not add one epic location for each state in our beautiful country. To be honest this blog could be a top 50, as we are SO spoilt for choice in really next level locations in Australia to elope or have your micro wedding.
Eloping in a destination can be a fun, exciting and adventurous way to get married. Our Australian backdrop offers a myriad of EPIC places to get hitched with a stunning background and as a plus a way to have your honeymoon and elopement all rolled into one.
Important to note that destination elopements aren’t any cheaper than a standard elopement even with just th two of you rather than with guests. In fact, you need to consider there will be some element of travel for the elopement team for these types of locations, and by default your package usually always end up being longer than a standard metropolitan city based package, as there is much more adventure and much more beautiful locations for photos, so a longer package is always advantageous to make the most of this amazing spot you have chosen for your wedding. Check out our list of top Australian destinations to have your elopement below…
Uluru - Northern Territory
Need we say more - it’s iconic, its magical, we talk about this amazing place ALL the time. It’s very hard to describe just how epic this location is until you are standing here and can ‘feel’ it for yourself. Check out the photo below for Jay and Dylan’s epic Uluru elopement package to see how gorgeous this backdrop is.
Note - all of the team have to travel into this remote spot as there is no local elopement team in place, we say, it’s 100% worth investing in the right team that have great relationships here and know how it all works and where you are legally able to be married in the area. Uluru has many considerations for your elopement - touch base to learn more about how amazing your elopement could be here (side note, we have one place left for our July trip)….
Freycinet National Park (or Cradle Mountain) - Tasmania
We could use our list for all 7 destinations just on the amazing diversity that Tassie offers for an elopement but to narrow it down we absolutely love either Freycinet National Park (as pictured below for Toms and Gemma’s day) or Cradle Mountain for epic spots for your Tasmania elopement package. It’s hard to believe how many people don’t know about Tasmania’s unrivalled beauty, which means some areas aren’t over run with a million people, and you can get many photos in stunning places, it makes your elopement feel really private with THOSE epic views, add on a honeymoon adventuring around this large island for your honeymoon and it will be an adventure you will never forget.
