The Perfect Finish: Sharon & Clint
A diary entry from our team at Elope Australia
Sharon and Clint were our final couple for the week in Uluru for July 2025, and what a way to finish – this was a morning full of laughter from start to finish.

When the girls arrived at our Elope HQ, bags in hand, ready for hair and makeup, we quickly realised something important was missing. We turned straight to the boys and said, “where’s the grog?” because there was absolutely no way this getting-ready session was happening without a bottle of chardonnay. The guys swiftly headed off to sort it out, and from there the whole morning turned into a proper giggle-fest, the girls full of laughter as they got glammed up together.

We headed out with just Sharon and Clint to the national park for some quiet couple photos, before looping back to collect their two guests for the next part of the day and this next part was a big one. We made our way to the PHS helipad, hopped into the helicopter with Professional Helicopter Services, and flew in over Uluru–KataTjuta National Park. From up there we had the most incredible view of Uluru itself and Kata Tjuta, the Olgas, whose name means “many heads” — an unbelievable perspective of this whole landscape, and one of those experiences you simply can’t get any other way.

We landed and wandered up onto the sand dune for the ceremony, where Clint, who’d insisted beforehand that he wasn’t exactly a man of many words – completely surprised everyone with his personalised vows, Sharon included, even through the giggles!

From there it was all laughs, easy smiles and playful photos together. These two clearly don’t take life too seriously, and it made for the most wonderful, light-hearted way to close out our epic run of eleven weddings that week.
Congratulations, Sharon and Clint. What a finish.
